Reviews

New to cosmic horror? Ever wondered what all the fuzz is about? Worry no more. This is a large but easy to get through collection of Lovecraft's best short stories. It's a good starting point for any reader or horror fan. Unlike most fiction writers today, Lovecraft chose to spent most of his writing focusing on the indescribable madness of the ancient horror that have haunted mankind since times immemorial than the actual monsters themselves. And that's because he understood that each person's approach to these horrors would vary. There's also a bit of light humor and parody included in this tome where under a pseudonym, Lovecraft chose to mock society's trends and favorite genres and cliches. So there's a little bit of everything for the average reader to enjoy.
